snippet of life: a sweet two-year anniversary!

Comments

Zan and I had the best time chillin’ in Palm Springs at one of my favorite hotels, the Ace. When we got there, Joe at the Ace was kind enough to bump us up to a beautiful, one-bedroom suite! We sat by the pool, had lunch, drinks and just hung out… The Ace is seriously a 24-hour party and you can even rent the bikes out at 3am if you want! The vibe is super retro (which I LOVE), with well thought-out, modern details all over the place. The food and drinks were so yummy and we had fun riding bikes around in the rain! Yes, it was raining in Palm Springs! It was a great way to celebrate two years of marital bliss… hahah ; ) As a treat, ZP took me to the AMAZING (and maybe too overwhelming!) outlets on the way home and I got a new Le Creuset tea kettle in a beautiful gradient teal! Who knew I would love a tea kettle so much? Here are some photos Zan took of our special little getaway…
I have to give props to Zanny because he picked up photography, as a hobby, about a year ago and I see him getting better and better every week!! Not surprised because he’s pretty much excellent at anything he does (although he disagrees!). Good job on the photos ZP!

aw it sounds like you had so much fun!! I HAVE to go there. I think I brought it up to Matthew at least 5 times this weekend. (And I totally registered for a Le Creuset pot in that same color!)

I’m planning a bachelorette party at the Ace Palm Springs in March… any suggestions?
