dylan’s amazing candy bash

Comments

When I saw this party in my Martha Stewart Wedding Magazine, I was instantly in love. I absolutely adore Darcy Miller, of Martha Stewart Weddings, who hosted this gorgeous candy bash for Dylan Lauren of Dylan’s Candy Bar in NYC. The theme and details of this shower are what make me love event design!! From the candy, cake, cocktails and paper goods… a beautiful party brings happiness to my soul! Ha ; ) The other night Zan and I were having a late night snack at Jerry’s Deli in Studio City when the server brought out a HUGE (and I mean big, people) birthday cake, lit with an abundance of sparkling candles. As they whisked the cake over to the special birthday girl, I looked around the restaurant and saw a smile on everyone’s face. I love how something so simple as a cake can make anyone feel special, especially when it’s for you! To me… cake, candy and dessert mean way more than just a pile of sugar ; )  they are symbols of celebration, tradition and happiness. That’s why I totally admire this party below and all of the special treats that make it look so delicious!
