turkey dinner sign

If you like to cut paper, trace and thread you’ll love this project, haha! I will be honest, it did take me a few hours, but it was worth it because I have the cutest Turkey Dinner sign to hang above our Thanksgiving dinner table! Also, to save time, you can buy stencils from an art supply store or you can print each letter individually and then cut it out so you have a stencil, that’s what I did 🙂 Below are the directions for this fun and stylish craft!

Trace your letter, right side down, on the back of a piece of card-stock paper.  I used a font called Neutra Slab Display and the font size was 650. I could fit one letter on each page ; )
Using an X-acto knife cut your letters out.
Using a Martha Stewart TINY paper punch, punch two holes next to each other leaving about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch apart.
String twine through the holes you punched… when you’re done you can hold your sign up and adjust the  placement of the letters. AND that’s it, YAY!!

That’s a lot of letters! I could probably use your process for a Christmas sign like “Joy” or “Noel” (ha-ha)!
