Brown Butter Cookie Company

Comments
Over the weekend I tasted some of the most amazing cookies from Brown Butter Cookie Company and I had to share! Honestly, the cookie was perfection and I’ve never had a cookie like this before. Similar to a shortbread (I had the original flavor) but the brown butter gives the cookies such a unique and delicious flavor and there is a perfect amount of salt that you can taste with every bite. They have other flavors such as espresso, bourbon and cocoa mint… mmmm! The charming bakery (it’s in a little red cottage!) is located in the adorable town of Cayucos, but if you can’t make it there you can order online too ; ) Also, if you’re in Los Angeles they sell them at Aroma Cafe, that’s where I bought my bag! I’m dreaming of more and definitely wanting to try out a cookie recipe with browned butter!

those look amazing!!! my cook’s illustrated cook book has a recipe for chocolate chip cookies with brown butter….the claim it makes the best choc chip cookie. So i tried it and they were amazing!! They were still chewy and had such a good flavor. If you find any other recipes, you have to post them! 🙂 I’m hungry now! haha
