1985Today I’m turning 28! I’m an 80’s baby, 1985 to be exact. I graduated high school 10 years ago… silent pause. I was born in the wonderful era of big hair, neons and leotards… all trends that the fabulous Beyonce is keeping in style these days. I thought I’d just take a moment to walk down memory lane with you. Some nostalgic facts about the year I was born… and let’s just say some of the best movies came out in 1985. Oh, and my state killed it in sports!

President: Ronald Reagan
The Titanic was found September 1st, 1985
Average Cost of a House: $89,331
Gas: $1.09 per gallon
Milk: $2.31 per gallon
Eggs: $0.60 per dozen
Movie Ticket: $2.75… I pay $13 at the Arclight right now!

    GREATEST BIRTH I’VE EVER HEARD OF. 😉 Mi vida, mi Eden. Love you and thanks for making every day brighter and worth living. PS on July 30th, when you were getting your first diaper put on, I was eating popcorn and Milk Duds at the movie theater, watching Back to the Future!!! Seriously!! haha

      I know right?! Where’d the time go?? Seems like yesterday…I totally feel like my mom saying that, but it does! Oh and yes, the Goonies is pretty much amazing 🙂
