We’re so lucky to live close to the 126, which is a road here in LA with a stretch of farmland, nurseries and fruit stands. Zan and I drive it often when we’re headed to Santa Barbara or Ojai and it’s such a beautiful and peaceful drive. Cate and I went out there to scope out a succulent farm…mission accomplished. We found a nursery full of gorgeous succulents and for very good prices! We brought the beauties home and created a very simple and rustic succulent centerpiece using a thrifted wooden box, succulents, rocks and cactus soil. It looked stunning as a centerpiece or table runner and was incredibly easy to create. We also wrapped the little succulents in linen cloth and placed them on top of each plate. You can put name cards in them and they make adorable favors for your guests!
DIY Succulent Centerpiece
Buy various sizes of succulents, large, medium and smaller ones.
Using an old wooden box, remove the succulents from the planters and pack them into the box. You can use more cactus soil for the areas that need it. Then place rocks on the top of the soil to give it a finished look.
