Jenna Lyons’s Brownstone

JennaLyonsHome2JennaLyonsHome4JennaLyonsHome1JennaLyonsHome5JennaLyonsHome6Let’s just call this throw back Thursday and take a moment to swoon over our beloved Jenna Lyons’s old brownstone. I believe she has since moved, but oh these decor photos are too good, especially as I’m constantly looking for home decor inspiration. That’s how I stumbled across these photos from the 2009 issue of Domino and Living Etc. I love all the black, white and gray she displays throughout the brownstone. As I’m planning my office, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep our black Pottery Barn desk, even though it’s very practical for our needs, but after seeing a few really chic spaces with a lot of black I’ve decided I can make it work! And to be honest I’m a little sick of seeing desks like this in every office! I also noted all of the different floors in every room. I think that’s so interesting that each room has a different stain or type of flooring. I think you can get away with that in really old homes where the floors are rugged. I’m excited to explore more inspiration for my home.
