We’ve been exploring some blood orange recipes in the S&C test kitchen this week. Two of which didn’t turn out, major bummer! But there are a few good ones that did and I’ll be sharing later. I always get excited when I see blood oranges popping up at stores and Farmers’ Markets. They look like oranges, but on the inside, they’re a dark shade of red, which turns into a vibrant shade of pink when squeezed. I really don’t think it’s a coincidence they come into season around Valentine’s Day either. Just a way to add a little pink to your favorite dessert!
