View of ZurichTomorrow I’m on a plane to Zurich, Switzerland! The last time I was in Europe, I was 16 so I’m thrilled to be able to explore the beautiful city of Zurich! Before traveling I always research fun and interesting facts about the destination and of course, the best things to do. So I gathered a few charming facts about Zurich, Switzerland. I’m very interested to find out what makes this country one of the happiest places in the world to live!

Also, I love the idea of looking up fun facts about where you are going. I tend to read about the history of the places but never tidbits like you shared! I am going to do that for the places I am traveling this september!

How exciting for you to visit my hometown – I am a daily reader of your blog and live in Zurich. What made you decide on coming here?
There is so much to see here…. a swim in the beautiful lake at Seebad Enge, drinks at Frau Gerolds Garten (they are on top of the urban gardening bandwagon), try champagne truffles from Teuscher, etc. Let me know if you need some more insider tips. Hope you enjoy your stay – it is the best time of the year to visit this beautiful city.

Perhaps your readers would like to hear a little bit about your trip to Europe? I’m thinking you might want to enlighten them about your visit to Omaha Beach, while your poor daddy tried to tape a video about the scene? Or you visit to a certain after hours establishment near the Eiffel Tower? Hmmm?

Patricia! You’re hometown has become one of my favorites. What a special place! We ALL fell in love with it. We swam in the lake, visited the area near Frau Garten, tried the truffles (AMAZING!!!) and so much more!! I would live there in a heartbeat!!!
