abstract cake decorating

My friend and reader Jen, sent me over a link to check out an artist named Amy Stevens. I was drawn to these abstract cakes and enticing colors! She reminds me a lot of Amy Sedaris, which is funny because they share the same first name, ha! When Amy turned 30 she wanted to bake 30 birthday cakes for herself. She order supplies from Martha Stewart and watched videos to learn how to create her own birthday cake. Once she found out they would never look like Martha’s, she created the ones below! Not only is she the baker, decorator and artist behind these cakes, but she’s also the photographer! These cakes are proof that not everything in life needs to be perfect… Sometimes imperfections can be just as fun and colorful 🙂 To check out more of Amy’s work and read her bio, visit her site here!
