sprucing up bamboo utensils

I’m a huge fan of using bamboo plates and utensils. It looks great, it’s friendly to our environment and makes clean-up so much easier! I bought these bamboo utensils and wanted to spruce them up a bit. This project is SO easy and you can customize them to any color or design. They’re great for baby showers or birthday parties. It’s all in the details, especially handmade details!

I used tool paint to create the V’s, Martha Stewart glitter and glitter glue. I painted the glue in the raised center of the utensils and then sprinkled glitter on. Let it dry completely and then use a blow dry dryer to remove all of the excess glitter.
You can wrap them individually and lay them out on a plate or on a buffet table

I love this idea! It’s such a pretty alternative to plastic for an outdoor gathering.
