Since Valentine’s Day is next Tuesday I thought it would be fun to share a cocoa-infused tequila cocktail! How unique is that!? The brand is Tanteo and their tequilas are infused with fresh, natural ingredients. This one is infused with real cocoa and a hint of jalapeno, to give it a little spice. It’s not necessarily chocolate tasting, but has a beautiful essence of cocoa. Zan is a total tequila snob (ha!) and absolutely loves this concept of infusing tequilas. The cocktail below is made with fresh, muddled ingredients. It’s citrusy with a kick of cocoa and spice. If you want something different when celebrating V-Day, try it out! 2 ounces Tanteo Cocoa Tequila
1 muddled strawberry
1/2 ounce Agave Nectar (or simple syrup)
1/2 ounce Fresh lemon juice
Muddle 1 strawberry, combine with Tanteo Cocoa, fresh lemon and Agave into a shaker. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds and strain into a Champagne flute. Top with prosecco (sparkling white wine) and garnish with a strawberry. You can also add a cocoa rim as well! Enjoy : )
