Moscow Mules Recipe

I wrote yesterday that I would post the recipe for the Moscow Mules I made while we were camping. I adapted the recipe from Oprah, ha! I have to agree with her that they are the perfect drink for camping. I changed the recipe by adding Agave Nectar instead of sugar and ginger-infused vodka instead of regular vodka. You can garnish it with a sprig of mint as well, but since we were camping I forgot it and the closest grocery store is like 10 miles away, haha. But I don’t think it was missed too much : )

Moscow Mules  (this recipe fits one 16oz Mason jar perfectly)
2 ounces ginger infused vodka
1 cup ginger beer
1 teaspoon agave
Squeeze 1/4 of a lime wedge

Add the ginger beer, vodka, agave and fresh squeezed lime juice (1/4 of a lime) into a mason jar. Add ice and stir well. Garnish with a lime wedge and add a sprig of mint if you want. Sip and enjoy by a warm campfire… or just in your living room, haha : )

Had these this weekend with friend…LOVE! We drink ours out of copper mugs, which adds the perfect amount of rustic elegance!
