Behind the Scenes of a Christmas Card Photo Shoot

Is this what it looks like when your family gets together to capture a photo for a Christmas card? We took Romeo to the Christmas tree farm to snap a photo of him for our holiday cards. We were exhausted after about… two minutes. Although there were no tears, the child was covered in hay and dirt after he tumbled over several times. He thought it was a good idea to eat the hay… who wouldn’t want to eat a long, shiny, skinny piece of straw? I think he consumed a good amount of dirt that day, but I guess I should get used to that. We pulled out all of the tricks to get him to look, smile and sit. We decided instead of fighting it, let’s just embrace it! I made my Christmas cards with Pinhole Press this year… I’ve mentioned them before here. They have a line of Ultra Thick Pinstripe cards that I simply LOVE! I ordered the quadrant to do a little collage of Romeo’s fascination with the hay. They turned out awesome and the quality is beautiful. They really feel and look premium, I was impressed. I mailed them out today! I’m actually on time this year, yay! I’ll post it later : ) Oh, and I also ordered him his very own personal stationary, which I adore!
