I let Saint Patrick’s Day slip right through the cracks! What is it with this charming little holiday that I forget about? I thinks it’s an adorable tradition and a great way to bring culture into your home when you have kids, but for some reason I usually don’t do too many projects or baking. Well, I take that back, I’ve done a few things in the past years like this, this and this, but this year nada! As Romeo gets older I’ll have more fun creating special memories for him. Right now I’m all about Easter! This week we celebrated Zan’s birthday. I baked him his requested dessert (this), we had cupcakes and wine one night, delivered cookies and balloons (that got away and popped an hour later, scaring his coworkers… oops!) to his work and had a great Italian dinner with our best friends. I really enjoy celebrating birthdays because every day is a gift and every year that we’re blessed to grow older is something to celebrate.
How stunning is that table escape above styled by my all time favorite, Lisa Vorce.

I fell in love with the home of Darcy Miller…
Picnic wine… already in its stemless glass. How easy for entertaining on-the-go!
