Be Inspired

Charming Friday Links

maintitlev2I completely underestimated the work involved in moving into a home while fixing it up. We still have a room full of boxes and there’s not one thing hung on the walls. I have a deadline to get this house in order (aka throw everything in one room : )) by next Friday because we have our very first video shoot here. It’s different than my Lifetime DIY videos and on a bigger level. Reps from Lifetime and the clients will be here. So this next week I’ll be preparing for the shoot and somewhat memorizing my script! It’s actually kind of nice to have something pushing me to get everything done around the house, otherwise it might stay like this for a country year! We also do not have a washer and dryer yet (they will be here soon!) so I’m lugging about 8 loads of clothes to the laundromat today… with a baby… who is now pretty much walking by the way! Zan and I both wanted to cry tears of joy. He’s growing so fast. He makes us laugh constantly with his funny little gestures. He even entertains his babysitter  with his crazy scrunchy face and thinks it’s hysterical when she laughs, so he continues to do it. I always tell him to “do it again, do it again!” and he loves that. What a ham my Romeo is.

Here are a few things I found charming around the web…

I did a little travel post for SMP Living today on my favorite… Malibu. Check it out!

Yesterday while I was furniture shopping, I walked into this store and fell in love. Luckily they have a wonderful online store as well! I love the lighting and hardware they sell.

One of my favorite series on Design Sponge is “Living In” and this week’s totally brought me back to my childhood. Now I need to rent this movie asap. That and Now and Then ; )

I love a charming hostess book and I can’t wait to dig into this one!

Not sure what you would do with these, maybe use them as decor in the summer? Regardless, I like them!

I’m not surprised when I find an awesome blog I never even knew about because there are so many great ones. I thought this one was cute and unique. Full of fun ideas for entertaining.

Totally love Est. Magazine. It’s free and worth subscribing to and I look forward to getting their emails! I love the overall design.

Zan snapped the photo of Romeo and me at the beach last weekend. I try to get all the snuggles I can while he’s still little and doesn’t fight them! Have a wonderful weekend!
