Thanksgiving Entertaining Inspiration

ThanksgivingTableEscape 15 days until Thanksgiving! I’ve brought out all the books and magazines and have been working on planning my Thanksgiving menu and table decor. This year is going to be extra special because I’m hosting it in our new home! My wonderful, adoring, amazing, genius family (they’re reading this) are all going to be here for the long weekend. The advantage of having it in our home is that I have all my tools and decor items at my fingertips to create a yummy meal and beautiful table escape. This year the color theme is a rich yellow inspired by the spice turmeric and deep reds and purples inspired by the spice saffron. I  hand dyed my linen table runner and napkins with turmeric and it turned out beautiful, video coming soon. And I’ll be the first one at the flower mart the day before Thanksgiving buying all of the deep red and purple flowers available! I’m excited to spend the day drinking wine and cooking with my sisters. We’re also going to be photographing and documenting the entire menu to share on Sugar and Charm next year! One thing I’ll be making for sure is this pecan pie!
