We partnered with P-touch Embellish to bring you this post!
I love a good lemonade stand as much as a 5-year-old, but I decided to give it a charming twist that’s better suited for adults! So, we created a lemonade bar for adults where you and your guests can add homemade flavors to spiked lemonade! How perfect for a summer party or wedding, right?! We made four delicious syrups for flavoring…kiwi, grapefruit, blackberry and a pineapple-ginger. All of the recipes for the syrups are below! The lemonade recipe is very lightly sweetened so when you add the syrups you can determine how sweet you want it! We added in vodka for the cocktail aspect, but you can always leave it out of the recipe or put it in a bottle so guests can add their own.
For another sweet lemon treat, we made homemade coconut lemon sorbet that was so tasty and satisfying! It’s a little like a lemon slushie. We served them in the frozen lemon halves we used to squeeze the juice.
We used the P-touch Embellish Ribbon and Tape Printer for the charming label touches. We used the ribbon to make a simple lemonade sign. You can use the tape or ribbon, print whatever you want it to say and then cut and apply to a rustic piece of wood. It’s such a fun and easy way to make a mini-sign!
We also labeled the lemon coconut sorbet, and I adore how it turned out! Such a charming detail that people notice and so easy to do.
For the syrups I added them to these trusty bottles I use all the time using a funnel. The P-touch Embellish was great for creating charming tags for the different lemonade syrup flavors. I literally use this machine so much from every day labeling to parties and events! It’s so versatile. We used Belgium in the large size font for the ribbon!
For the decor, I had my friend and florist make a lemon wreath and beautiful flowers to add a touch of charm and class to the bar! This definitely steps it up and makes it fully acceptable for all adults to enjoy a lemonade BAR!! I also used lemon-shaped napkins that I thought were adorable, gold paper straws and beautiful glassware in yellow and green.
I hope you’re all inspired to create your own version of this charming lemonade bar for one of your parties this year! You can pick up your P-touch Embellish Ribbon and Tape Printer here. So worth it!!
