Is Cane Sugar Good For Sugar Scrubs?
There are many types of sugar, but pure cane juice is good for all skin types and contains essential nutrients to feed your beautiful face. It can be used 2-3 times per week, with turbinado being naturally the coarsest due to its large granules, making it ideal as a body scrub!
Ingredients Used To Make Candy Cane Sugar Scrub
I used a few drops of fresh pomegranate juice to give it the “reddish” color, organic peppermint essential oil for the scent, and organic almond oil to moisturize the skin.
How To Make Candy Cane Sugar Scrub – Steps To Follow
1 – Combine the sugar and the oil in a bowl. Mix until incorporated.
2 – Dive the mixture in half.
3 – Add a few drops of natural red food coloring (or dark pomegranate juice) into 1/2 of the mixture and mix until you have a nice pink color.
4– In plastic globes or a jar, layer in the red and white sugar scrub until the jar is filled.
