Every year, I look forward to bringing out all of our Christmas decorations! The weekend after Thanksgiving we pick out our tree at the farm and come home to a delicious batch of hot cocoa, cookies and decorate the house for Christmas.
The holiday tunes are blaring and we unpack all of our Christmas items that were carefully stored the previous year. It’s fun to take a walk down memory lane with the decorations.
Some items we’ve had for over 10 years and I like to add new ones to my collection too. Since the sales are amazing on Black Friday and Cyber Monday (literally 40% off most of the stores we chose items from!) we created a Guide to Holiday Decor Shopping!
These are a few of our favorite things … from ornaments to storage! And of course, there is no better time to buy them when they’re on sale!

Christmas decor can be as festive as you want. Some like it minimal with a few decorative accents and others like a winter wonderland.

Christmas Trees and Christmas Wreaths
From Christmas trees to Christmas wreath! I like to use fresh greens with some of our classic faux trees and garlands.
These days, faux garlands and trees look so real and it’s nice to be able to use it over and over again.
Also, don’t forget tree accessories too, a watering can is a must to water your fresh trees and a skirt transforms the tree into a decorative piece.

I like to give them as gifts and present toppers, as well as update my own collection. This year, I’ll be adding quite a few to my collection as I felt my tree was very bare last year!
