We’re in cookie dough heaven over these edible chocolate chip cookie dough Easter eggs! Admittedly, I love cookie dough as much as a toddler, so I totally understand the popularity of treats made with edible cookie dough like this and this! So we whipped up our cookie dough Easter eggs and dipped them in milk chocolate. They’re similar to what you would think a cookie dough truffle would be. Yum. These treats are very fun for kids too. If you don’t have experience dipping truffles, they can be a little tricky and messy, but it’s chocolate, so it’s the good kind of mess! We left real eggs out of the dough recipe to make them safe and edible. Then, we drizzled colorful candy melts over the top to give the cookie dough eggs some color and viola, we have the best edible chocolate chip cookie dough Easter eggs, perfect for an Easter treat! They stay fresh for about 4 days in the fridge, if they last that long!
