Cranberry Thyme Gin and Tonic

A festive gin and tonic with a splash of homemade cranberry simple syrup, gin, lime and tonic water!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces gin
  • 4 ounces tonic water
  • 1/2 ounce cranberry simple syrup
  • 1 tbsp lime juice fresh-squeezed, about 1/2 of a lime.

Instructions

  • Make a batch of cranberry simple syrup using this recipe. Add in 2 sprigs of thyme when cooking.
  • In a glass filled with ice add in the gin, lime juice and cranberry simple syrup.
  • Give it a stir to mix the simple syrup.
  • Pour the tonic water over the top and stir again.
  • Garnish with fresh cranberries and thyme!

Notes

Use good quality gin when making a gin and tonic.
Add more or less gin depending on what you like.
