- 1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- 2 ounces orange juice
- 1 ounce coconut cream
Blend all of the ingredients into a blender.
Blend on high until smooth, a few minutes.
Pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with a cocktail umbrella and a cherry.
Double this recipe to make two drinks.
If using fresh pineapple, add in 1 to 1 1/2 cups ice.
Always taste test! After the recipe is blended, take a spoon and taste it. See if it needs more of anything and then continue to blend.
Use coconut milk instead of cream of coconut.
If you have fresh pineapple, you can use that with 1 cup of ice.
Rinse the blender immediately for easy cleanup.
If you still want the taste of rum, add in 1 1/2 teaspoon rum extract! Zero alcohol but adds hints of warm vanilla rum.
If you want a thick texture drink add more frozen pineapple or ice. If you like a more liquid texture, add more pineapple juice.
Make virgin pina colada jello shots by adding coconut water instead of rum.
