These brownies are the perfect Halloween treat!
Servings: 15 brownies
Mummy Brownies (makes 15 mummies)
- 1 box Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Baking Mix with Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 bag Nestlé Toll House White Morsels
- 30 Semi-Sweet Morsels from the Chocolate Baking Mix to use as eyes
- 2 inch round pastry cutter
- Icing bag
- Flat frosting tip
- 13 x 9 baking pan
- 48 ounces NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 12 ounces NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Morsels
Follow the baking directions on the Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Baking Mix to make brownies. Remove and save about 30 semi-sweet morsels for later.
Pour brownie batter into a 13 x 9, greased baking dish and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
Remove and let cool, then using a 2 inch round pastry cutter, make 15 circles and place on a parchment-lined cutting board.
In a double broiler, melt the white chocolate until smooth, then remove and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
Add the melted white chocolate to a piping bag, fitted with a flat edge piping tip.
Layer the frosting on the brownies like a mummy! Then add 2 morsel eyes for a deliciously spooky finish.
Melt the semi-sweet morsels and heavy whipping cream in a medium saucepan on medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Pour into a microwaveable bowl or pot to serve (this way you can easily put the bowl in the microwave for a few seconds if the morsels start to harden). Melt white morsels over a double boiler. Pour and swirl over the semi-sweet chocolate morsels or pipe the melted white morsels to make a design. Dip your favorite fruit or snack and enjoy!
