Cinnamon Hot Chocolate
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or unsweetened coconut milk
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 15 g Pure Via® sweetener comes in little packets
Topping
- 1/4 cup whipped cream whip heavy cream or coconut cream in a blender with a whisk until thick. Use 1/2 cup and save for extra.
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Warm the almond milk in a saucepan.
Mix the unsweetened cocoa, cinnamon sticks and Pure Via® into the milk and heat on medium-low for about 10 minutes.
Whisk to blend together and melt the cocoa powder.
While that is heating, whip heavy cream or coconut cream in an electric mixer with the whisk attachment and beat until thick.
