4th July Summer Cocktails

These delicious cocktails are perfect for summer parties and especially for the 4th of July!

Ingredients

Red, White And Blue Shots

  • 3 cups of vodka
  • 3 cups of boiling water
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 envelopes of unflavored gelatin
  • 3 ounces blue berry-flavored gelatin
  • 3 ounces strawberry or cherry-flavored gelatin

Homemade Spiked Lemonade for the 4th

  • 8 cups
  • 1 1/4 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • 3/4 to 1 cup sugar or a sugar substitute Add more or less depending on how you like it
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup vodka
  • Strawberries blueberries and mint blueberries and mint

Instructions

Red, White And Blue Shots

  • Blue Gelatin
  • Pour 1 cup of vodka into a bowl or container. Sprinkle 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin over the vodka.
  • Let it stand for about 1 minute. Add blue berry-flavored gelatin and pour in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until the gelatin completely dissolves.
  • Pour a layer of the blue gelatin into each shot glass.
  • Refrigerate for about 20 minutes or until the gelatin is firm enough to add the next layer.
  • White Gelatin
  • Pour 1 cup of vodka into a bowl or container. Sprinkle 2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin over the vodka. Let it stand for about 2 minutes. Add 1 cup of boiling water and stir until the gelatin completely dissolves. Pour the sweetened condensed milk and stir well.
  • Pour the white gelatin on top of the blue gelatin. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes or until the gelatin is firm enough to add the red layer.
  • Red Gelatin
  • Pour 1 cup of vodka into a bowl or container. Sprinkle 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin over the vodka.
  • Let it stand for about 1 minute. Add strawberry-flavored gelatin and pour 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until the gelatin completely dissolves.
  • Pour the red gelatin on top of the white gelatin. Refrigerate for about half hour or until the gelatin is firm.
  • Serve with mini spoons and enjoy!

Homemade Spiked Lemonade for the 4th

  • Boil water and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
  • Add in the fresh squeezed lemon juice and pour into a heatproof glass pitcher.
  • Refrigerate until cold.
  • Add in the vodka and the berries. Serve over ice!
