Infusing Salt

Calories:
Author: Eden

Ingredients

Red Wine Salt

  • 1/4 cup sea salt course
  • 1 tbsp red wine

Lime Salt

  • 1/4 cup sea salt course
  • 2 tbsp lime zest

Earl Gray Salt

  • 1/4 cup sea salt course
  • 1 tsp earl grey tea

Lavender Salt

  • 1/4 cup salt course
  • 2 tbsp fresh lavender

Instructions

Lavender Salt

  • Combine salt and lavender and store in an air-tight jar to infuse the lavender flavor. The longer it’s stored, the stronger the scent and taste. Remove the lavender and use for desserts or even in savory dishes!

Red Wine Salt

  • Stir the wine and salt together, until the color is present throughout the salt. Use in recipes, garnish desserts or place a small bowl out for a special dinner.

Lime Salt

  • Combine salt and lime zest and mix with a fork. You can either leave the zest in the salt or strain it. Use for margarita rims or savory recipes.

Earl Grey-Infused Salt

  • Combine salt and Earl Grey herbs. Try in dessert recipes.
