  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 6 ounces gin
  • 4 ounces lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 ounces cinnamon simple syrup
  • 1 1/2 ounce cranberry juice real, full cranberry juice with the deep red color
  • soda water

Cinnamon Simple Syrup

  • Combine water, sugar, and cinnamon sticks into a medium saucepan and simmer until sugar has melted.
  • Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes then remove from heat and let it come to room temperature.
  • Remove the cinnamon sticks and pour the syrup into a container to store it.

  • In a cocktail shaker add gin, lemon juice, cranberry juice, and simple syrup with ice.
  • Shake for 20 seconds then strain into 4 tall glasses filled with ice.
  • Top with club soda (about 2-3 ounces per drink) and then garnish with one cranberry and a cinnamon stick.

You can always give your cocktail a taste test. If it needs more soda water, or simple syrup go ahead and add more.
The cinnamon simple syrup can be stored for a few days in the refrigerator.
