Candy Cane Peppermint Bark Fudge

This fudge recipe is super easy to make (easy + holidays = happy) and when topped with a little puff of spun candy cane, it's a total hit at any party!

Ingredients

Chocolate

  • 2 1/4 cups semi-sweet morsels one 12 ounce bag
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk 8 ounces
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

White Chocolate

  • 2 1/4 cups white chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk 8 ounces
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

Instructions

  • Stir the chocolate, condensed milk, baking soda and peppermint extract together in a heat-proof bowl.
  • Set it on a double broiler (on low), until almost melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the remaining (unmelted) chunks of chocolate.
  • Pour into 8x8 pan and let it sit in the refrigerator.
  • Do the same with the white chocolate and pour into of the cooled chocolate layer.
  • If you have a cotton candy machine (we used this one!), crush the candy cane and then add it into your machine. Follow the directions on the cotton candy machine to complete.
  • Put each little cotton candy puff on top of the bark and enjoy!!
