A homemade grenadine recipe that is perfect for drinks It's really easy to make and the results are delicious. There are no artificial colors or artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup in this recipe. Just pomegranate juice and sugar. The color is a deeper red, but the flavor is really good.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice unsweetened

Instructions

  • Add the sugar into a small saucepan.

  • Simmer over low heat and stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is thickened and syrupy.

  • This should take about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Store in a glass jar or bottle in the fridge for up to a month.
