Lucky Charms Cereal
Instructions
Measure out the Lucky Charms cereal and set aside.
In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue cooking until the butter turns golden brown and smells nutty.
Reduce the heat to low. Add the marshmallows and salt and stir until completely melted and smooth.
Turn off the heat and add the Lucky Charms cereal. Stir until evenly coated.
Transfer the mixture to an 8×8 ceramic pan. There’s no need to grease the pan.
Place parchment paper on top and gently press the mixture into the pan.
Let sit for about 1 hour before cutting into squares.
Notes
This recipe makes
9 large treats
when cut into a 3×3 grid.
Browning the butter adds a rich, toffee-like flavor and is worth the extra minute.
Press gently to keep the treats soft and gooey.
These are best the day they’re made but still delicious the next day.
Storage
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For the best texture, enjoy within 24 hours.
