A fun twist on a classic cocktail, this is made with an evergreen wilderness honey simple syrup! It gives it more flavor and depth.

Ingredients

Honey Wilderness Syrup

  • 3 rosemary sprigs
  • 1 tsp juniper berries
  • 1 tsp whole allspice
  • 3 dried bay leaf
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup water

Wilderness Whiskey Sour

  • 1 ounce wilderness syrup
  • 1 ounce lemon juice fresh
  • 2 ounces whiskey
  • 1/2 egg white optional

Instructions

Wilderness Syrup (serves 8)

  • Bring everything to a simmer in a small saucepan until the honey has melted, for about 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and let it infuse for 20 minutes to 1 hour. 
    Honey simple syrup with rosemary.

Wilderness Whiskey Sour (makes 1)

  • Add the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 20 seconds.
  • Strain over a large ice cube. Garnish with a bay leaf, cinnamon stick, and two juniper berries.
