Ingredients

  • 1 ounce limoncello
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 3 ounces Prosecco
  • 1 ounce club soda or ginger beer.

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add lemon juice, limoncello, and simple syrup.
  • Shake for 20 seconds.
  • Strain into a coupe or a wine glass.
  • Pour the Prosecco over the top.
  • Add a splash of club soda or you can use ginger beer.

Notes

If serving this drink in a coupe, shake it for 30 seconds to make it extra cold.
Use chilled ingredients for a perfectly chilled limoncello spritz. You can even make Prosecco ice cubes by pouring the bubbly into an ice cube tray and freezing it overnight.
Keep your drink fizzy by storing leftover open bottles in the fridge with a metal spoon inside (handle side down). This will help preserve the bubbles for your next serving.
Make a pitcher of limoncello spritz and pour it into individual glasses once all the ingredients are combined. This method also allows for easier refills during gatherings or parties.
If serving it in a wine glass, serve it over ice to keep it cool.
