2tspvanilla extract
1tbspwhole milk
Instructions
In an electric mixer, beat the butter until it's whipped.
Add in the sugar and continue to beat until whipped.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add in the vanilla and milk.
Continue to beat for about 2-4 minutes until the frosting is super whipped.
Notes
If you're making 24 cupcakes, double this recipe! It will frost about 12 cupcakes and 1 round 9" cake, as well as the top of one sheet cake. When making the buttercream, use high-quality butter, milk, and vanilla. This will make a huge difference in the taste of the finished product.
