Ingredients

  • 6 large mint leaves
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 2 ounces cherry juice 100% cherry juice
  • 2 ounces club soda

Instructions

  • In a sturdy glass, add mint leaves and simple syrup. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently muddle the mint to release its natural oils. Be careful not to tear the mint, as this can make the drink bitter.
  • Pour in the white rum, cherry juice, and lime juice. Stir the mixture to combine the flavors.
  • Fill the glass with ice cubes, then top off with club soda for a light and fizzy finish. Stir gently to mix everything together.
  • Garnish your cherry mojito with a sprig of fresh mint, a lime wedge, and a cherry for a vibrant and festive presentation.

Notes

  • For the freshest flavor, always use freshly squeezed lime juice and fresh mint leaves.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup to suit your taste.
  • Use crushed ice for a more authentic mojito experience and better mixing of flavors.
  • Mocktail Version: Replace the rum with a zero-proof alternative or add more sparkling water for a refreshing, alcohol-free option.
