Ingredients

  • 6 ounces bourbon
  • 4 ounces orange juice
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup brown sugar is best but you can also make it with granulated sugar.
  • 4 ounces ginger beer

Instructions

  • If reusing decorative bottles for serving, empty and clean them first.
  • Add all ingredients except the ginger beer into a cocktail shaker.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill and mix the flavors.
  • Strain the mixture into a measuring glass with a pour spout for easy serving.
  • Stir in the ginger beer gently to preserve the fizz.
  • Carefully pour the finished cocktail into tiny shot glasses.
