Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine the dry ingredients into a medium bowl and set aside. In a mixing bowl with a paddle attachment add all of the wet ingredients and beat until smooth. On slow speed, add in the flour mixture and orange zest. Beat on high for a few seconds until smooth. Don't over mix.
Pour the batter into a lightly greased cast iron skillet and bake for about 35 minutes or until done.
Orange Glaze
Add all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl and beat on high until smooth. Add more orange juice or powdered sugar to the perfect glaze consistency. Let the cake cool a bit, then pour the glaze over it.
