In a saucepan combined sugar, water, rosemary and ginger.
Bring to a soft boil until the sugar dissolves. At least 3 minutes.
Let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes so the flavors can infuse.
Prosecco Pomegranate Punch
Add all of the ingredients into a pitcher or a punch bowl.
Fill the pitcher with ice and garnish with fresh rosemary and pomegranate seeds.
Notes
Add more or less simple syrup if you like a sweeter or less sweet punch. Make this punch ahead of time by adding all of the ingredients (leave out the ice and Prosecco) into a pitcher and store in the refrigerator. Add the Prosecco and ice right before serving.
