Sake Sour

This sake sour is a light and refreshing cocktail to serve this Halloween. With just a handful of fresh ingredients, it perfectly balances citrusy, herbal, and smooth. You can make it year-round, but I've twisted it to make it perfect for a spooky season!

  • 4 large cucumber slices
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup
  • 2 1/2 oz sake
  • 1 large egg white

Instructions

  • Muddle the cucumbers: In a shaker, muddle four slices of fresh cucumber until you’ve extracted all the juice and flavor.
  • Add the remaining ingredients: 1 ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice, 3/4 ounces of simple syrup, 2 1/2 ounces of sake, and 1 egg white.
  • Shake: Shake all the ingredients together with ice to froth up the egg white and create that luscious foam.
