This hot chocolate couldn’t be easier! Only 4 simple ingredients and you’ll have yourself a healthy version of hot cocoa!
Ingredients
Unsweetened almond milk or unsweetened coconut milk
Unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cinnamon sticks
Pure Via® sweetener
Directions
- Warm the almond milk in a saucepan.
- Mix the unsweetened cocoa, cinnamon sticks, and Pure Via® into the milk and heat on medium-low for about 10 minutes.
- Whisk to blend together and melt the cocoa powder.
- While that is heating, whip heavy cream or coconut cream in an electric mixer with the whisk attachment and beat until thick.

- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 15 g Pure Via® sweetener, comes in little packets
Topping
- 1/4 cup whipped cream, whip heavy cream or coconut cream in a blender with a whisk until thick. Use 1/2 cup and save for extra.
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
