Create memories and plan your December calendar with our printable advent calendar ideas!
Each day in December we celebrate the holiday season. Making it special for our kids is what makes the season magical for us. The thing I love the most about having a printable advent calendar is that I can plan the month of December from concerts to movie nights. It helps me keep the holiday season organized and insures we fit everything we want to do as a family. The kids also love waking uo to a little peice of chocolate and a fun acitivy for the day..
The ideas range from simple moments such as making a cup of homemade hot cocoa, watching a Christmas movie, or wrapping presents to larger events like attending a Christmas concert or a visit to Santa.
Each little card fits into the pocket of an advent calendar with a little piece of chocolate or holiday treat. I make the advent calendar about special moments rather than toys, but I do like to add in a little ornament they can hang on the tree and a little surprise in their stocking.

Once you have all three pages printed, cut out each square and fill every day of the advent calendar.
One tip, I try to schedule all of our Christmas festivites in November. Like buying concert tickets, tickets to light shows, reserving a spot to see Santa. That way you have an idea of what day you want each card to go.
Advent Calendar Tips
Print on card stock to get the best results.
Laminate each card if you plan on using them year after year.
Check the size of the advent calendar to make sure the cards will fit and if you’ll have room for candy too.
There are extra ideas, so pick and choose what fits within your month.
