I saw these charming snow globe cocktail glasses on Pinterest and knew it would be such a fun and charming way to serve a simple Rosemary Gin Fizz cocktail! Who wouldn’t want to drink a cocktail out of an adorable snow globe? It doesn’t get more festive than that!

It’s all about presentation for this drink and pouring it right in front of your guests is key when serving a Rosemary Gin Fizz snow globe cocktail! The bottom of the snow globe glass is the ice cube and it melts slowly keeping the drink cold.

We followed this tutorial on how to make your own cocktail snow globes. Instead of raisins we made the little snowmen out of white fondant. We did still use half of a raisin to help stick it to the very bottom of the glass. When we tried to make it without using the raisin the snowman fell over when we we went to freeze it. So the raisin is imperative for making these work. Also, using a thin toothpick to hold the snowman together is key too.

Once the cocktail is shaken up, pour it over the snowman. You want to make sure you do this as you serve it… show the glass first, then pour after. That way everyone can see the snow globe you made!

We tested how long the snowman lasted emerged in the cocktail and it took about 45 minutes until he started to fall apart. I thought that was actually a really good time to sip one cocktail!

To make an easy simple syrup, just combine 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar in a sauce pan and simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Add in 4 large sprigs of rosemary, simmer for another few minutes then remove from heat and let the rosemary infuse for 20 minutes before removing it. Stay charming and happy holidays!!

  1. This is so cute! Question – was it overly sweet after sitting for so long? I like this idea but worried the cocktail will be too sugary.
