Carrot Spritz Recipe

Spring is one of my favorite seasons – the sun is shining, but it’s not too hot, the garden is in bloom, and everything feels vibrant and alive. It’s that sweet spot between cozy and carefree, and I absolutely relish in it.

I created this spritz with that feeling in mind: the earthy sweetness of fresh carrot juice, the citrusy brightness of orange, and the bubbly lift of a classic spritz. It’s light, refreshing, and full of life – just like spring. This is truly spring in a glass.

Whether you’re sipping it in the garden, on the porch, or serving it at a spring gathering, it brings sunshine to every sip.

Carrot Spritz Ingredients

Prosecco: A light and bubbly sparkling wine that adds effervescence and a slightly fruity finish.

Aperol: A vibrant Italian aperitif with a bittersweet orange flavor and a beautiful amber color.

Carrot Juice: Naturally sweet and earthy, it brings a fresh, unexpected twist to the classic spritz.

Orange Juice: Adds a citrusy brightness that perfectly balances the bitter notes.

Orange Slice + Carrot Ribbon (for garnish): These cheerful garnishes make the drink feel festive and spring-ready.

How to Make

  • Add a handful of ice cubes to the glass.
  • Top with prosecco and stir gently to combine.
  • Garnish with an orange slice and a curled carrot ribbon.

Recipe Tips

Add a splash of soda water for a lighter, more bubbly spritz.

Make it non-alcoholic by swapping Aperol for a non-alcoholic bitter aperitif and using non-alcoholic prosecco.

You can juice fresh carrots if you have a juicer, or grab cold-pressed carrot juice from the store.

Serve immediately for the freshest flavor and fizziest bubbles!
