I created this cocktail to be sophisticated but easy to make. Just like my classic mimosa made with Prosecco, this cocktail has more flavor complexity, feels very fancy, and tastes so good.

Prosecco feels luxurious, but it’s actually reasonably affordable. It’s created using grapes and the tank method to make sparkling white wine.

Prosecco works well in cocktails as it gives the drink a refreshing, fruity taste that is not overbearing. We use it in our Negroni and my holiday citrus punch recipe, too. Also, check out more of our brunch cocktail recipes.

Prosecco Cocktail Ingredients

Italian Prosecco – We use La Marca Prosecco to make this cocktial.

Orange Juice – High quality orange juice.

Orange Liqueur – Cointreau or Triple Sec.

Ginger Beer – Ginger beer is a non-alcoholic fizzy drink that has a sweet and spicy flavor.

This cocktail is perfect year-round and for many different occasions. Here are some of our favorite celebrations to serve this drink:

Prosecco Cocktails

Lamarca Prosecco

La Marca Prosecco is our go-to for many of our cocktails, or by itself! It has a fresh sparkling wine with vibrant apple, white peach, and honeysuckle flavors. The flavors are soft and fruity with a pleasant acidity making this sparkling wine ideal for any occasion.

Best Ginger Beer

We use ginger beer in several of our cocktail recipes, like our classic Moscow Mule. It’s important to use one that has a strong ginger flavor. Here are a few of our favorite ginger beers:

Orange-Flavored Liqueur

Grand Marnier or Cointreau or Triple Sec are all orange-flavored liqueurs that can be used in cocktails. They are produced around the world and the base of the liqueur can vary from vodka, brandy, or rum.

They often use dried orange peels or orange-based essential oils to get the orange flavor and scent.

Cointreau is one of the most widely respected. Cointreau has a cognac base and is with orange bitter and aged in French oak. Triple sec originated in France and contains 20–40% alcohol by volume. It’s the least expensive of the three.
