Apple and Ginger Sprizter on a gold tray to serve for a Thanksgiving cocktail.

Apple cocktails are my favorite! After summer, I crave the flavors of apple, ginger, and spice. We go apple picking in the mountains and buy fresh apple cider. I use apple cider to make delicious fall cocktails throughout the season.

Fun Fact: The very first apple cider cocktail I ever made was an Apple Cider Moscow Mule! Did you know we were the first ones to ever publish or make an apple cider Moscow Mule?! Pretty cool!

This wine spritzer also makes wonderful Thanksgiving Cocktails. It’s made with almost no effort at all, but still tastes delicious!

The last thing you want to do on Thanksgiving is to spend time making a cocktail! This one is just a little measuring with already prepared, store-bought ingredients.

Serve the spritzers on a tray near the entryway. It’s the best way to greet family and friends, especially on Thanksgiving! This one goes perfectly with our Modern, Rustic Thanksgiving Table Setting!!

Fall wine spritzer with apple and ginger and Lillet. Served in a glass with fresh apple garnish.

If you use large cubes for ice, they will melt slower giving the cocktail a longer life. I’m a fan of these molds and use them all the time!

What is a spritzer?

A spritzer is a wine-based cocktail made with sparkling water or club soda. You can also add other ingredients and juices in a spritzer to give it more flavor. It’s a light and refreshing cocktail with a little fizz and spritz when you drink it!

You can also set up a Spirzter bar for Thanksgiving, similar to what we did this past summer! It was such a hit and everyone loved making their own spritzers!

Hi Judy – In the recipe card you can change the serving size. Sometimes the measurements don’t come out exactly even, but it will still work. Just taste test and add a little of whatever you feel it needs when making a batch 🙂
