We hosted a Friendsgiving Progressive Dinner Party, where we made a portion of the Thanksgiving feast. My portion of the dinner party was to create a welcoming cocktail. Greeting your guests with a cocktail, beer, or glass of wine is one of my top entertaining rules.

It helps your guests relax and spark conversation right away. I’m super excited about today’s cocktail recipe, as it’s our take on a delicious apple crisp cocktail.

Have any of you hosted a progressive dinner party? It’s fun to do with your neighbors, as it brings a sense of warmth to a community. I would love to hear your thoughts and tips on hosting one!

Cocktail Recipe Tips

  • If you’re not a bourbon fan, switch it out for vodka.
  • Make the simple syrup a few days ahead and store it in the refrigerator.
  • Make this a mocktail by using a zero-proof spirit.
