This time of year, we’re all looking for a festive holiday punch with vodka to make for parties! This is one of my favorites and we named it Spiced Apple Sparkler Punch because it’s full of spices, apples, and two sparkling beverages.

The flavor is an explosion of apple with the first sip. It’s so refreshing and delicious and the best punch for the holidays as well as New Year’s Eve!

Why You’ll Love This Punch

Festive and flavorful: Infused with real spices for that classic holiday feel.

Bubbly and fun: Sparkling Moscato and Martinelli’s give it a celebratory fizz.

Easy to prep ahead: Make the spiced cider base the day before.

Recipe Tips

Garnish to impress: Add fresh apple slices, cranberries, or star anise to the punch bowl.

Create an ice ring: Freeze apple slices, citrus, and spices in a bundt pan for a gorgeous presentation.

Chill everything: Make sure the wine, cider, and vodka are all cold before mixing.

Go alcohol-free: Omit the vodka and wine for a family-friendly version

Infusing Apple Cider with Spices

To bring out the warm, cozy flavors of the season, we infused pressed apple cider with whole cinnamon sticks, cloves, and fresh nutmeg. Just bring it to a boil on the stovetop, then let it simmer for 10 minutes to really let the flavors meld.

Once it cools (you can toss in a few ice cubes to speed it up), strain it into your punch bowl using a sieve. The result is a perfectly spiced cider base ready for the sparkling mix-ins!

Ingredients

  • 32 ounces pressed apple cider or apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 2 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon fresh nutmeg, shaved
  • 1/2 bottle sparkling apple cider (Martinelli’s)
  • 1 1/2 cups apple vodka
  • 1 bottle sparkling white wine , we used a sparkling Moscato
  • 1/2 juice of a fresh lemon
  • 1 large bag of ice , or you can make an ice ring the night before

Instructions

  • In a medium sauce pan, add in the apple juice and spices.
  • Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes to let the spices infuse.
  • Remove from heat and let the juice cool. You can add in handful of ice if you’re using immediately or you can put it in the fridge to cool and use the next day.
  • Strain the juice through a sieve, into the punch bowl to remove the spices. You can add the cinnamon sticks back in since they’re pretty!
  • Add in the vodka, sparkling wine, sparkling apple cider and lemon juice.

I can’t wait to try this recipe for the holidays. I have just turned 21 and can’t wait to partake in the alcoholic festivities. This looks simple, but refreshing and I am sure it will impress the family. Thanks for sharing.
