Football season has started and what better way to kick it off (pun intended!) than some easy bacon and cheese pretzels?! The perfect game day finger food!
This might not be the traditional way of making pretzels, but it’s definitely a delicious one! We even added bacon and cheese to the pre-made dough for an extra kick of flavor. They taste especially good with our easy queso blanco dip.

Easy Pretzel Recipe
Ingredients
- 13 inch refrigerated french bread
- 6 pieces bacon
- 1 cup jalapeño cheddar cheese
- 1 egg
- salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Unroll dough into a rectangle. Add bacon and cheese along the center, then roll it back up and cut into 10 rolls.
- Roll each into to a 1/4-inch thick rope about 9 inches long, and then bend into a pretzel shape.
- Beat egg in a small bowl and brush on top of the pretzels. Sprinkle with course salt. Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately.
