It’s amazing how sweet and delicious these drinks are using unique fruit and veggie combinations. We also added just a tad of sugar along the rim! Totally optional but we loved having a dash of sweetness.

The green juice is super spicy, which I LOVE, and has tequila in it. The pineapple blend has a good chunk of ginger in it, some lemon juice and we added some rum to it for a more tropical taste!

And the strawberry juice combo is absolutely delicious with apples, pears and limes and we added gin for this one.

Healthy Cocktails with Vegetables

You’ll need a juicer to juice vegetables and fruit for your cocktails.

I used my KitchenAid juicer for perfect juices, but these can easily be cold-pressed juices if you have a cold press juice machine and prefer that method better.

How to Make a Fresh Juiced Cocktail

  • Follow our recipe and the juicer’s guide to juicing below. Once the fresh-pressed juice is made, add 3/4 cup fresh juice with 1-ounce spirit in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Shake for 20 seconds and then strain over a large ice cube.
  • Garnish with fresh fruit or veggies.

What is the healthiest cocktail?

If you’re ordering a cocktail at a bar or restaurants the healthiest cocktails to order are vodka soda, gin and tonic, Paloma, bloody mary or a martini.

If you’re making cocktails at home, our fresh vegetable and fruit cocktails are healthy as you’re getting a serving of fruit and vegetables with no added sugar.

The only sugar in these drinks comes from the natural sugar in the fruits and vegetables as well as a small amount in the spirits.
