I remember the first time I had hazelnut chocolate spread was in France almost 15 years ago! One taste of it and I was hooked! So here we are today, adding it to brewed Hazelnut coffee with Nutella and a little cream and hearkening back to sitting outside a tiny French cafe.

I love the way the Nutella spread and cream complement the coffee and add the perfect amount of sweetness to it.

This recipe makes a great after-dinner coffee to sip if you want something simple and light, but with a touch of sweetness.

What is hazelnut coffee?

Hazelnut is a sweet, buttery, nutty flavor. It’s the nut of the hazel and goes very well with chocolate and vanilla flavors. The flavor is blended into coffee.

What is the best hazelnut coffee?

Dunkin’ Donuts – This is the brand we used to make this recipe.

We used Dunkin’ Donuts coffee because the flavor is truly so good and it smells amazing when it’s brewing. There are so many brands though, so choose one you love.
